Access Control systems are tailor made to your specific requirements. From a simple button push to complex networked systems. Simple security maybe the thing you need or maybe you require access control just to replace many sets of keys. We can install coded access, proximity access, card swipe and audio or video entry systems. Larger networked systems can be PC controlled with remote access over TCP/IP or LAN/WAN connections.
Access control can work closely with door and gate automation. Although in many cases your requirements are to stop un-authorised access to areas within a building, some access points such as barriers, roller shutter doors, disabled access doors or even where you simply want a door to open automatically, access control can be used to control the locking, unlocking , opening and closing of doors.
Audio door entry systems consists of a door station, a remote station (phone) and a form of door lock. Upon pressing the button on the door station the remote phone rings and when answered a button on the phone can be pressed to allow access.
Video door entry systems work in the same way but incorporate a discreet camera in the door station and a monitor in the phone allowing visual confirmation.
Both of these types of systems are available in a design to comply with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. This includes the use of large illuminated buttons, braille embossed buttons, audio information and confirmation, dual height panels etc.
We install all types covering all requirements for any application. From simple single door control to large systems, we can design and install to your very needs. As we are not restricted to any one manufacturer we can recommend the best, most cost effective product for any installation.
20 years of experience allows us to work with existing systems to provide a comprehensive maintenance and repair service. In many cases extending a system to utilise existing cards or fobs can be acheived. If you have a system which needs attention or requires an upgrade please contact us.

Example: You have a small shop with a store room to the rear. While you would like the public to browse around the shop you do not want them to gain access to the store. You could use a an electronic digital keypad, a card swipe reader or a proximity fob reader to control an electronic lock release or door magnet. There are reasons for choosing which form of control you would like. A keypad is programmed with a code or several different user codes which can be changed as often as you like. Magnetic swipe cards can be programmed into the reader and can be deleted from the reader if the card is lost. The fobs work in much the same way. Cards can be printed to act as ID cards if required. Fobs are attached to your key ring. The advantage of cards and fobs is that you are less likely to share, where as people can look over your shoulder and see what code you enter, or simple you may tell someone the code who passes it on. A further example is that you have a larger premises and many doors and lots of staff. If this is the case you can network the doors and access points and even remotely lock and unlock doors and also bar someone from access to one or more doors or areas.

From a simple mechanical code lock to an electronic bio-metric reader.
From a single door to a networked 500 door system.
